2 Weeks

Sundays, November 10-17 | 12-4 p.m.

Work on your own independent photo project with open darkroom hours at the Banana Factory. Two 4-hour sessions give you plenty of time to develop film, practice printmaking, explore new techniques, and pursue your photographic interests outside the structure of a classroom session. Photographer and teaching artist Scott Piccotti will be there for as much or as little instruction and guidance as you'd like. We'll supply standard B&W darkroom chemistry and multigrade RC photo paper, but you are welcome to bring your own materials as well. Enlargers are available for negative sizes from 35mm up to 6x7, and our developing tanks can accommodate 35mm or 120 film. Participants should already have basic familiarity with darkroom concepts. An intro session can be arranged for newcomers.

Scott is a photographer and teaching artist interested in exploring every aspect of photography and integrated media arts. He studied photography at Moravian College, and has worked with all manner of film & digital cameras, historic processes, and lighting systems. He also holds an FAA Remote Pilot certificate to work with cameras that fly.
